Wireless fire alarms are especially well suited to historic and listed buildings where there is concern to maintain the original fabric of the building. By using radio communications to link the sensors, call points and other devices with the controllers, there is no need for wires, so installation causes no damage to buildings and minimum disruption to their inhabitants.
Are wireless fire alarms as effective as wired ones?
Technology has moved on considerably since the early days of radio fire alarms. All installations meet with BS standards 5839 and En 54. The products are CE approved and the transmitters and receivers are approved to the appropriate DTi specifications.

We offer two types of control panel, through Electro-Detectors. The larger EDA-M100 can support up to 3000 analogue addressable devices accommodating 999 zones. As many as 50 control and booster panels can be networked together to ensure that communication across the system is instantaneous.
The smaller EDA-M200 can support up to 999 devices in 20 zones. The control panel is not as complex as the M100 model and is ideal where special operations are not required.
