What do you charge? Are there any call out charges? Are there any extra charges I should be aware of? You want to know as much as possible before the locksmith arrives, even if he can’t tell you an exact figure. They should be upfront about charges, not hazy. Prices will vary with what is required. Making a new key will not be as expensive as fitting a new lock, for example and time of call out may also affect charges
How do I pay? If they say by invoice, you can relax a little! If they say cash only, you should try elsewhere
